Spellborn International has announced that are planning to release The Chronicles of Spellborn in Europe in the first Quarter of 2008.
I expect quite a deathmatch in 2008. Seems like all the new MMO/MMORPG’s will hit the shelves at the same time, Chronicles of Spellborn, Warhammer, Age of Conan and even Warcraft’s Wrath of the Lich King. I really wonder why. Sure, most of these games will have a slightly different audience, but in the end they are in the same game pool. For us gamers it will be great to try them all, for the developers it will be hard to compete and I guess only one or two will survive. My bet goes to Warhammer, followed by Age of Conan. I don’t expect Wrath of the Lich King to add anything new, besides and extended grind and some new instances. And WOW had enough of that already…
