We don’t often find ourselves citing British tabloids here on GamePolitics. But we couldn’t resist writer Paul Vale’s riposte to McDonald’s in today’s
Sunday Star.
GP readers will recall that last week the CEO of McDonald’s U.K.
pointed a greasy finger at the video game biz for causing childhood obesity.
This was buzzing around the news last week, Mc Donalds pointing at the game industry for creating unhealthy addictive activities. If kids were playing and running outside all day they could eat hamburgers as much as they fancy... It's a strange world after all..
The only ones responsible for their kids health are their parents, and as my old mother always used to say, take all things with moderation. So gaming is fine, it's even good for your brains development, but if it takes over your life. You won't burn any calories anymore. Same with snacking at you local Mac, if you feast on their greezy stuff every now and then, thats perfectly acceptable. If it's you main menu, well you get bigger and bigger... quite simple no?
