Eternity’s Child started as a phone game ( a gaming platform that’s easily forgotten ) and it gained quite a reputation. Mainly because of it’s wonderful hand drawn graphics, and addictive gameplay. The game tells the story of a world that lost most of it’s inhabitants after an environmental disaster. A story that is actually quite dark, in contrast with the “happy fairytale drawing style” of the game.
The whole planet was flooded and having wings was a big advantage, so the non-winged creatures became jealous and murdered them all. After this ( winged versus non-winged ) war the world was empty and they started to repopulate the world with robots. Which eventually turned against their creators.The Wii version of the game tells the story of Angel, a wingless creature, that escapes the orphanage to find the remaining creatures of his species.
Eternity’s Child ( or as it’s previously known Angel’s Eternity is announced for release Q2 2008 for the Wii and the Nintendo DS. The side-scrolling platform game id developed and releaser by Alten8, a British game company known for their retro style games.
