The Abbey

If you loved the tension and historical setting of Umberto Eco’s “in the name of the Rose” you’ll probably love this point & click adventure from Alcachofa Soft titled “The Abbey”. The game is presented as a humorous thriller, a little odd combination, but the atmosphere and features look nice. The backgrounds are drawn by hand, and the characters are rendered in 3d. The cartoonish render they use for the 3D models make them blend very well with the rest of the 2D scenery. The Abbey is scheduled for release in 2008.
